St. Bridget's Mission
Bruneau
The first Catholic church in Glenns Ferry, ID was built in 1892. It was replaced in 1916 with the present building and blessed May 28, 1916 by Bishop Alphonse Glorieux, pioneer bishop of Idaho. Fr. George L. King, who served as second pastor of the parish, offered a Golden Jubilee Mass in 1966 (pictured above).
“I sense that the moment has come to commit all of the Church’s energies to a new evangelization and to the mission ad gentes. No believer in Christ, no institution of the Church can avoid this supreme duty: to proclaim Christ to all peoples."
-Pope St. John Paul II
